The small sterile white cell smelled of semen now. And sweat. Of cum.

His and hers.

He was leaning forward, still breathing heavily and red-faced from his orgasm, and she brushed a few strands of her long auburn hair out of her face and leaned forward. The chains that bound his hands to the table prevented him from leaning back enough for her to see the semen stain on his grey prison uniform.

This is almost the end, she thought. It’s almost all over.

“No,” she said. “We’re not going to talk about the child yet. My son. Not yours. You did nothing. You provided a sperm, that’s all. First, let’s talk about when I cut your face open.”

He hissed and jerked backwards in his chair. “I was trying to save your fucking life,” he said.

He glared at her, his normally flat blue eyes blazing with emotion now.

“I mean, you have two women in your life, they’re eventually going to get jealous right?” he said through clenched teeth. “But let’s talk about the first time. Then we can talk about the last time.”

She sighed. “Okay.”
